FOSSDLE PieFedDo new posts in PieFed start with 2 upvotes, by default?

I just created an account here just a couple of days back, so I don't know if this is normal or a bug, so I thought of asking here first.
Today, I posted 3 articles and they all started with 2 upvotes. Not sure if this was the case yesterday too, if it was, admittedly, I didn't notice.
Yes. Can't find the previous posts talking about it, but that's the idea.

Why is that the idea?
I have found it also very confusing but somehow the first one is your normal starting upvote and the second one is somehow because don't have bad reputation on your instance or something.
Sounds like a good idea to me
