Why does piefed.zip have an ad for Blorp when I share a link?

I have nothing against Blorp, I do have something against an ad in a link when I share something.

That link preview was generated by your phone. If you look at the sidebar column of https://piefed.zip/ you'll see the text "Why not try a different UI?" is there. That text is used as a meta tag when the page doesn't have any of it's own:

Blorp dev here. No idea, but those embeds usually come from html meta tags that I’m guessing the official Piefed UI is setting. I suspect PieFed has some sort of announcement/banner field and they are populating the meta tags with the banner text.

Totally a guess.
