[Mastodon reply link] Even the ActivityPub author "supports" anyone who makes a game (platform?) that implements the protocol

if anyone wants to create a game that implements ActivityPub, I am happy to support
This might mean that he may help Prismic implement it (if he's aware) and others
why and how would it even work??
As I can say, mainly for the ability for players to play/join the games being hosted on other instances
Its just the same concept as how they interact with posts on Mastodon
Maybe for some decentralized user generated content system? Thats the only idea I pretty much have
Also players interacting between different instances
That's the trick.
You could, for example, have a bot running a text-based RPG in a Mastodon thread, where you get to see others in your group take their turns, then you have yours.
Activity pub creators want all these different uses for the protocol but then reject the feature requests required to make ap viable for those uses.
It's merely a job for the extensions to fill that gap
then go for it.
